Since 2009, the Palazzetto Bru Zane has been supporting - or directly leading - campaigns to digitise documents that can shed light on French musical life in the broad 19th century.

This activity involves both institutions - such as the Académie de France in Rome, the Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris and the Conservatoire & Orchestre de Caen - and private individuals with family archives.

The digitisation of these documents and their eventual posting on Bru Zane Mediabase will facilitate the work of researchers and help to promote forgotten artists.
