Symposia and studies
The Palazzetto Bru Zane has been supporting research into music in nineteenth-century France with symposia and publications since 2009. Such research follows subjects prompted by their current artistic relevance in preparation for the activities of the coming seasons. Each symposium and each publication thus offers an opportunity to support innovative works, to encourage academics to look into music figures who have remained in the shadows, to hear new points of view and to discover still little known parts of the repertoire.
In order to preserve the memory of the symposia held or supported by the Palazzetto Bru Zane since its foundation, this section presents each event and gives its programme. The proceedings of some are available on the site. They can be found individually (by searching for them as articles), but are also attached to the page of the specific symposium.
The books published or supported by the Palazzetto Bru Zane are presented on the site (summary and contents). These pages also provide a link to their publishers’ websites. Bru Zane Label’s CD-books are catalogued here, with links to the various texts of which they are composed.
The articles, available online, bring together symposia proceedings, the texts of the CD-books and complementary studies written or commissioned by the Palazzetto Bru Zane.
The symposia and studies are listed by the name of their authors or organisers.
